Who we are:
Hinds Behavioral Health Services (HBHS) - Region 9 Mental Health Center, serves Hinds County as one of Mississippi's 15 regional community mental health centers. Opened in 1971, HBHS offers a wide range of mental and behavioral health services for all ages in community and center based formats.

HBHS is an outpatient mental, behavioral and substance abuse healthcare facility. Our goal is to help people identify, understand and manage mental health and related problems. Services are tailored to the needs and presenting issues of individuals seeking services. Hinds Behavioral Health Services provides quality, affordable mental healthcare for all Hinds County residents.
