JONES COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Two Jones County inmates remain at-large Saturday night.
The Jones County Sheriff's Department says 33-year-old Claude Johnson and 17-year-old Ira Hadley Jr., both of Laurel, jumped over the recreation yard fence Friday afternoon.
They were being held at the Jones County adult detention facility while they awaited trial. Sheriff Alex Hodge says both may have been cut or otherwise injured.
Johnson is charged with stealing guns from Xtreme Outfitter and electronic equipment from Pawn and Trade. Hadley is accused of armed robbery.
