JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal crash of a Bolton man who died not far from his home.
MHP spokesman Sgt. James Walker said it was just before 8 p.m. Friday that troopers were called to the accident scene on Highway 22, eight miles east of Bolton.
According to investigators, Nathan Ramagos was traveling east when his Chevrolet Yukon lost control and struck a tree.
The 51-year-old was not wearing a seat belt.
He was transported to CMMC where he was pronounced dead.
The accident happened less than two miles from Ramagos' Bolton home.
MHP is trying to determine why the SUV left the roadway.
