JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A volunteer fire chief in Rankin County is charged with gratification of lust.
Chief Lee Boggs of the Star Volunteer Fire Department was arrested by the Rankin County Sheriff's Department around 2:30 Friday afternoon. He is charged with two counts of gratification of lust.
Sheriff Ronnie Pennington would not give any further details on the circumstances surrounding the chief's arrest. Boggs has been released on $40,000 bond.
