BATON ROUGE (WAFB) - A sanitation worker was killed Tuesday morning after being struck by his own recycling truck on Rosemont Drive near Westdale Drive in Baton Rouge. Witnesses say it happened just before 9 a.m.
Two men who saw the accident say the driver of the truck, owned by the Recycling Foundation of Baton Rouge, did not see Kerien Dennis, 39, behind the truck and backed over him.
Investigators with the Baton Rouge Police Department and Coroner's Office were on scene to determine exactly how the accident happened.
