Stephanie Bell Flynt has enjoyed a television broadcasting career since 1986, when she moved to Jackson to anchor and report news. She did take a five-year leave from television to spend time with her young children. She returned to work at WLBT in the fall of 2003.
Stephanie anchors the WLBT Noon Report and covers Medical Matters for WLBT viewers.
Stephanie most recently was awarded a year-long fellowship from the Association of Health Care Journalists. The AHCJ Fellowship allows Stephanie to train with some of the top health care journalists in the country through workshops and seminars in Atlanta, Boston and Columbia, Missouri. The fellowship concludes in June, 2013.
Stephanie is a native of Gloster, Mississippi. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Communications.
