About a dozen pounds of marijuana is off the streets and two men are behind bars. They were arrested at the Forest Park Apartments in Jackson. A drug-sniffing dog at a local postal center detected something funny in a package. Even though it was masked in cooking oil, the dog hit on 12½ pounds of marijuana. It was mailed from Los Angeles to the apartment complex. Police estimate the drugs had a street value of about $20,000.
