The Gustav crisis means the Republican National Convention will not come off as scheduled Monday and maybe not for the rest of the week.
As a result, some of the Republican party delegates decided to come back Sunday night from St. Paul, Minnesota.
They arrived at the Jackson-Evers International Airport around 9 o'clock.
One delegate from Louisiana says he was glad with McCain's decision to cancel the convention.
New Orleans delegate J.T. Hannan says, "As far as the convention goes, I think it's proper and I really like what I've been hearing about turning the convention into a big service project. I think that's awesome."
