Hospice...It is a word many people have heard, perhaps because a friend or a family member received hospice care. It is a service that has touched millions of lives across the United States. It is a special kind of care that every person should know about.
Hospice Ministries is your not-for-profit community based hospice. We are committed to providing warm, compassionate, and expert care focused on our patients priorities, needs and values.
Our supportive team cares for the youngest to the oldest members in our communities. Throughout life's most difficult times, you can count on us to be with your patients and their families. Our services are designed to ease pain, eliminate symptoms and provide support to our patients and their families.
Because illness affects much more than physical health alone, our care teams are made up of people with different kinds of training and skills, all of whom are dedicated to providing care of the highest quality. When you choose Hospice Ministries, your care team is built around our patient's unique situation.

Hospice Ministries' inpatient facility in Ridgeland is the only inpatient facility in this area. Our inpatient facility allows care to be provided for patients who are unable to be cared for at home or may be experiencing a medical crisis when complex physical care needs require acute medical intervention. Our Inpatient Facility provides more intensive clinical care with a compassionate and holistic touch. Your patients will receive skilled, individualized medical care in a setting that supports your patient's well-being, and the comfort of those they care about most. We also provide residential hospice at our facility. By giving terminally ill patients the ability to choose how they spend their final months and providing a special system of care that stresses pain relief and the easing of symptoms, patients often regain a sense of control and the opportunity to live as comfortably as possible.
The McClean Fletcher Center, a free service of Hospice Ministries, Inc., is the only center of its kind in Mississippi that provides grief support for children ages 4 to 18 who are anticipating or have suffered the loss of a loved one. The services are not limited to families of loved ones that received care through Hospice Ministries. These services are open to everyone.
