Early Showers, High 86
A weaker version of the storms that hit Oklahoma is now slowly working its way through Mississippi, but not with as much punch. Scattered showers are likely in the early morning hours and a slight chance of additional showers later today; primarily south of I-20. Winds SW 10-15 mph and a 60% chance of rain, high near mid 80s.
Tonight the skies should clear pretty quickly; soon as the sun goes down. The cold front is expected to push through, which will shift the winds NW 5-10 mph. Temps will drop into the 60, but the drop in moisture will make it feel a bit cooler.
Tomorrow the sunshine returns with a bit of the mugginess riding with it. The winds wills still push from the northeast at 10-15 mph, but the previous day's rain will help it stay a bit humid. Temps are expected to push to near 90 degrees. The UV index will be in the very high to possible 'extreme' category as well.
