JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Good news to report on a Three on Your Side story first reported Monday.

Robert Reynolds who is physically disabled had his bike stolen Friday from the Fred's on Terry Road.

Tuesday morning Robert Reynolds was notified that JPD Precinct One officers had recovered his red Schwinn tricycle.

Officers found it abandoned in a yard on Combs Street off McDowell Road.

Before Robert could even pick up his trike, another viewer who saw his story, dropped off a brand new one on his doorstep.

"I can't put it into words the way I feel about it. It's fantastic," said Robert, as he zipped up and down the street on his new wheels.

Reynolds said he received at least five calls from people wanting to buy him a new tricycle.

He received several more calls from people offering help in other ways, even one from employees at Indian Cycle who want to repair his old trike that was damaged when it was taken.
