HOLMES COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - The Holmes County Circuit Clerk Earline Hart, is being forced to move from a 4,500 square foot facility, to a 3,000 square foot building, temporarily.
WLBT was told she was very upset about the forced move. But when we went to Lexington to talk to her about it, she had no comment for the camera.
She did tell us she had never told anybody that she would not "move the first piece of paper."
The Board of Supervisors says weather has delayed building her a new facility and the company that owns the present facility, has another use for it and will lose a federal grant if they don't get it by the end of the year.
Hart has said there is no way she will make the deadline.
