Man smashes store windows with Salvation Army Kettle

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - One Metrocenter Mall shopper was not in the Christmas spirit Thursday. Jackson Police say he smashed all five of the glass doors at Burlington Coat Factory using a Salvation Army Red Kettle.

A store employee said she thought it was a trash can when she heard the loud crash around 1:30 this afternoon. No one was hurt.

The man was arrested, but the charges are unclear. Police believe he is mentally ill.
