Jackson Police launch Christmas toy drive

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - In this tough economy it will be a lean Christmas for many families this year. Some may not be able to afford any gifts at all.

The Jackson Police Department is teaming up with sponsors around the metro-area to lend those families a hand. But they need your help.

You can write a check to the Jackson Police Foundation or drop off an unwrapped gift at your local Jackson Police Precinct or one of a number of locations like this one at the Country Fisherman.

The gifts will go needy kids in the Jackson area.
