New WLBT transmitter being installed

RAYMOND, MS (WLBT) - Work is underway to expand WLBT's coverage area.

The FCC recently approved WLBT's request to move to UHF digital Channel 30. We're currently on digital Channel 7, but we'll make the switch by the end of the year. It will extend the station's reach and make way for emerging technologies like mobile TV.

WLBT will announce the exact date of the changeover in the next few days. When it happens, you'll need to re-scan if you're not on cable or satellite.
