Sanaa Hill expected to make full recovery

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi says surgery went well for Sanaa Hill.

She's the 8-year old struck by a stray bullet while doing her homework at the Sykes Road Boys and Girls Club.

Doctors were able to remove the bullet and bone fragments. She is now expected to make a full recovery according to Billy Redd.

A fund has been set up through Trustmark for donations to the family.
