
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The former chief medical officer for the Department of Corrections will have to serve the next two years behind bars.
35 year-old Kintrell Lidell entered a guilty plea to 13 counts of embezzlement Tuesday morning. In addition to jail time, she faces five years of supervised release, fines and $94,000 in restitution. She will start serving her sentence January 4th.
