JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - An eight year old girl hit by a stray bullet earlier this month continued to recover from surgery Monday.
Billy Redd with the Boys and Girls Club says Sanaa Hill has been moved into a private room. She is out of the ICU and continuing her therapy.
The family expects Hill to be home for Christmas.
The search continues for those responsible in connection with that shooting.
Shots were fired from a gray car carrying two black males and a black female.
The first male suspect was wearing a navy blue bubble coat with blue plaid pajama pants.
A second man was wearing a white thermal top with blue jeans.
The woman wore a green track suit with a red shirt.
