Several injured in night club shooting

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) –  Gunfire erupted early Saturday morning inside a downtown Jackson club, injuring several people. 

Christmas holiday celebrations came to an end when shots were fired in Club Paradise at 1836 Mill Street.

Jackson police responded to the scene around 1:45 a.m.

Multiple shots were fired striking three men.

Thirty one year old Gino Banks and 21 year old Danthony Kirk both of Jackson were transported to University Medical Center.

They were treated for gunshot wounds to the foot.

Banks was later released.

A third victim, 26 year old Ahmad Williams of Jackson suffered lacerations to his lower back.

He was treated at Central Mississippi Medical Center.

Police spokesman Officer Joseph Daughtry said no shooter has been identified.
