Ridgeland police have arrested a 25 year old Jackson woman and charged her with accessory after the fact of murder, in connection with the brutal slaying of 27 year old Avis Banks at her Ridgeland home last week. Banks was five months pregnant at the time of her death. More >>
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson Police are looking for 28-year-old Oscar Flemming in connection with a shooting last week at the intersection of Dalton and Winter Streets.
Fleming is wanted for aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
Police say several rounds were fired into a Chevrolet tracker, one hitting the driver. Twenty-eight-year-old Elderidge Simon was shot in the back. The small SUV had a bullet hole in the back and two flat tires.
Anyone with information on Flemming's whereabouts is asked to contact Jackson Police.
