JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – City leaders approved TIF bond funding for improvements to south Jackson's newest subdivisions.
Tuesday council members passed a $2.1 million dollar tax increment financing bond for the Timber Falls development.
It consists of the Forest Hill Place and Cedar Grove Subdivisions off Raymond Road.
The money will be repaid through future property taxes over 20 years.
The approved funding will expand the Timber Falls Parkway and straighten a portion of Forest Hill Road.
