Condition of injured logger improves

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - There is an update on the Terry man who was airlifted to the University Medical Center after being struck in the face by a log earlier this week.

Twenty-six-year-old Howard Matthew Hosford's condition has been upgraded from critical to good at UMC.

A spokesperson from the Hinds County Sheriff's Department said Hosford was at work when the logging accident occurred.

It happened on Tank Road in Hinds County near Highway 27.
