PHILADELPHIA, MS (AP) - The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians will shut down its popular Geyser Falls Water Theme Park for 2010 while renovations are under way.
General Manager Sheila Martin says Geyser Falls will reopen for the 2011 season.
The Neshoba Democrat in Philadelphia reports that the Choctaws plan to upgrade the park, which opened in 2002.
Martin says people who bought season passes for 2010 will get a refund.
The park includes a souvenir shop, arcade and food concessions and various rides, including a six-story winding water slide.
