WAYNE COUNTY, MS (WLBT) Wayne County authorities have identified skeletal remains found back in November as the remains of a missing person.
Twenty three year-old Kenny Gandy of Waynesboro was reported missing in July. Two hunters traveling in a wooded area off Highway 45 north found his remains in November.
The DNA results returned this week and confirmed the identity of Gandy. Authorities say the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. @
