JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – There's good news for Entergy customers this winter. Electric bills will be the lowest they have been in six years.
The Mississippi Public Service Commission has approved Entergy Mississippi's quarterly fuel adjustment.
From January through March, the typical residential bill will drop 11 percent.
For example, customers using 1,000 kilowatt hours a month will pay about $79.50.
Compare that to $89 for the same period last year -- that's a difference of nearly $10.
Entergy provides electricity to more than 433,000 customers in 45 counties.
