JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson police are looking for two men involved in an armed robbery and shooting.

It happened at the Inland Food Store, a convenience store in the 3100 block of Terry Road around 8:14 Friday night.

JPD Spokesman Roderick Holmes tells us two white males wearing masks entered the store; displayed a gun and demanded cash. One of the men shot the clerk, identified as 26-year-old Sandeep Bal, in the leg.

Officer Holmes says Bal's injury did not appear to be life-threatening, but he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The pair got away in a grey SUV.
