HATTIESBURG, MS (AP) - A narcotics officer in Mississippi claims a suspected drug dealer's pants fell down during a foot chase, exposing more than private parts.
Hattiesburg Police Officer Mark Mitchell says the suspect's pants fell down and exposed "narcotics in his anal area."
Mitchell, a member of a narcotics task force, described the incident in federal court records filed Tuesday seeking the forfeiture of 2 cars and $10,800 from 34-year-old Kevin Lawrence.
Court records said Lawrence was arrested last August near his Hattiesburg business, a detail shop called Kandy World.
Police spokesman Synarus Green said Lawrence was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana in state court.
Lawrence's attorney had no comment Tuesday.
