National Guard hands out water in 4 locations

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson residents in need of water for sanitary needs can get it Wednesday night.

The National Guard deployed tanker trucks to four precincts:

Precinct 1 – Candlestick Shopping Center – 810 Cooper Road

Precinct 2 – 711 West Capitol Street (Behind the Atmos Building)

Precinct 3 – 1475 Northside Drive (Corner of Northside Drive and Livingston Road)

Precinct 4 – Smith Wills Stadium (1200 Lakeland Drive)

Four five-thousand gallon tanker trucks will be at the locations beginning at 10:30 p.m.

The water will be for non-consumption purposes, and residents will be limited to 10 gallons per vehicle. Residents must bring their own container.
