Students injured in school-bus collision - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
RANKIN COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Sheriff Ronnie Pennington says a school bus loaded with students rear-ended another bus Friday near Florence. It happened around 3:00 on Highway 469.
Pennington said no one was seriously injured, but officials with the county's Emergency Operations Center say twelve people, including one of the bus drivers, were taken to hospitals.
The EOC says anyone with kids on Bus Number 201 or 378 should pick up their children at Florence Elementary School.
Jefferson County Sheriff Peter Walker has identified the woman found dead in the cemetery of East Mount Olive Baptist Church Wednesday night.
