Gov. Barbour expands State Of Emergency - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
(WLBT) - Jackson isn't the only area with water and infrastructure problems.
Governor Haley Barbour has expanded the state of emergency to include 10 counties. Recent winter weather has caused substantial damage to water and road systems threatening public safety and property.
The governor says others are experiencing difficulties similar to Jackson's.
Jefferson County Sheriff Peter Walker has identified the woman found dead in the cemetery of East Mount Olive Baptist Church Wednesday night.
