JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Folks could take a step back in time at the Mississippi Fairgrounds Saturday.
Dozens of visitors from across the country browsed 175 tables of collectables at the Mississippi Antique Bottle Show.
Organizers say it is the largest bottle show of its kind in the south. Glass bottles in every shape and size dating all the way back from the 1600's were up for sale, but there are other goods displayed also.
"It's also for antiques and collectables so I have civil war items on one on my three tables. Other people have cut glass and crystal and there's just all kinds of things here tools and everything else," said Alan Balliet, co-organizer of the MS Antique Bottle Show.
For the last several years the bottle show has been housed in the agriculture building. It will gain an extra 7,000 square feet of space at the trade mart when it returns next January.
