ATTALA COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A Pearl man is found dead inside his vehicle parked on the Natchez Trace.
Just before noon Saturday a park ranger discovered the body in a truck on the trace in Attala County. Coroner Sam Bell identified him as 56-year-old Rodger l. Smith of Pearl.
Bell says he was the owner of Energy Piping Incorporated of Jackson and West Virginia. The coroner believes Smith pulled over off the road and died of natural causes stemming from a pre-existing medical condition.
