Candlelight Vigil Held for MUW Students Killed in Alabama - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
LOWNDES COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A candlelight vigil for the four Mississippi University for Women college students killed over the weekend.
It was a somber evening at the Mississippi University for Women.
MUW President Claudia Limbert was among those who spoke to those who gathered.
Some in the audience cried before heading out to light candles in honor of the coeds.
The students were killed Saturday night at a Days Inn motel.
The room had smoke detectors, but did not have a sprinkler system.
Authorities say arson is not suspected.
