JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – Officials with the City of Jackson say the temporary pump on Highway 18 is working well and the water pressure is rising.
City crews hope to collect samples Friday to send to the State Health Department for testing.
Once two days of tests come back clear, the boil water alert will be lifted.
But for now, the approximately 16,267 well system customers still need to boil their water.
