JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Jackson family pleads for help finding the person responsible the hit and run death of their loved one.
Twenty-two-year-old Joshua Cameron's body was found in the street at the intersection of Gibralter Drive and Raymond Road October 26th last year. He had been struck by car around 5 a.m. that morning, but the driver kept going. If you did it or you saw anything that day, Cameron's mother and Jackson police are asking you to speak up.
You know, if they can just go to the police department and just say what happened. I need some closure as to what actually happened," Josephine Cameron, the victim's mother.
"Right now, we just believe that it was a random accident, perhaps this person got scared, as you said, and left the scene. Come forward...let's work this thing out," said JPD Deputy Chief, Eric Wall.
Jackson Police arrested a suspect last year but that person was not charged with Cameron's death. Call Jackson police if you can help solve this crime.
