JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Mississippi football fans were split Sunday night, happy to root for the saints and magnolia state native Brett Favre. Hundreds who could not make it to the Superdome flocked to local sports bars to catch the gridiron action.
Buffalo Wild Wings in Ridgeland was at capacity with as many as 400 people watching the game on multiple big screen TV's. Fans yelled and cheered through out the four quarters. Saints games typically mean big business for the Ridgeland restaurant.
"Crowd is looking really good. Saints are playing, always draws a big crowd. (We have got a lot of Saints fans, got a few Vikings fans, but hey we're used to it. We've been doing this for nine years. We've been rocking and rolling," said Buffalo Wild Wings manager James Caldwell.
