Councilman Stokes wants raise for city employees

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Councilman Kenneth Stokes wants to reward city employees for their hard work during the water crisis.

Sunday he announced he wants the Jackson City Council to vote to raise public works employees pay by $2.00 an hour.

City council members will meet Tuesday.
