MCCOMB, MS (AP) - Pike County sheriff's deputies are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and his wife.
Chief Deputy Steve Rushing tells the Enterprise-Journal officers responding to a call around 5:30 p.m. Friday arrived to find 64-year-old Kenneth R. Connors, and his wife, 59-year-old Sandra Capitano Connors, dead from gunshot wounds in their mobile home.
Rushing did not disclose where the couple were shot, how many times they were shot or the type of weapon used in the incident. However, he said murder-suicide had been ruled out.
Rushing said Kenneth Connors' brother, 56-year-old James Richard Connors Jr., lived with the couple and was inside the mobile home when deputies arrived, but he was not shot.
Rushing said James Connors suffered from an unspecified medical condition.
