Eight Churches Burglarized - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
At least eight churches in the African American Community in Jackson, have been burglarized in 2010.
The burglars tried another Monday night, but a burglar alarm scared them off.
Rev. Randy Brown, Pastor of New Bethel Church on Decatur Street said, "It is very disturbing about the fact that people are breaking into a House of God."
Mostly audio equipment, TV sets, and small amounts of money have been taken after the burglars ransacked the churches.
Jefferson County Sheriff Peter Walker has identified the woman found dead in the cemetery of East Mount Olive Baptist Church Wednesday night.
