PEARL, MS (WLBT) - A Rankin County man, wanted for a fatal shooting in Pearl, is back in Mississippi Thursday.
46-year-old Mack Watts, Junior of Flowood was arrested in Louisiana Saturday where he waived extradition.
He is charged in the capital murder of 38-year-old Robert Lee Lindsey and the aggravated assault of 33-year-old Candice Garnett.
The two were shot in Garnett's residence at the Crosswinds Apartments in Pearl January 23rd.
Lindsey had been shot three times in the chest and was dead when police arrived.
Watts was arraigned in Pearl Municipal Court this morning and waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
He is in the Rankin County jail without bond.
