JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A judge will decide next week whether Stuart Irby will have to answer questions related to the wreck last year that killed two doctors.
In a conference call Friday morning with attorneys, Judge Winston Kidd said he wants to hear testimony from two of the people who treated Irby after the Jackson businessman was injured in the accident.
Irby's attorneys claim he has no memory of the wreck last February, and that having to answer questions about it would cause him undue stress and delay his recovery.
Irby faces no charges, but his wife, Karen, is charged with depraved-heart murder. Her trial is scheduled for March 29.
