JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say Edward Scott Yancey has been sentenced to 15 years on a child pornography charge after being sentenced to 16 months for being a felon in possession of a gun.
U.S. Attorney Don Burkhalter said in a new release that Yancey will have to serve 25 years of supervised release when he gets out of jail.
He must also undergo a program for sex offenders, register as a sex offender, obtain mental health treatment, and he is prohibited from having any access to computers or the internet.
