RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - A murder suspect went back before a Ridgeland Municipal judge Tuesday.
Robert Earl Harvey was hoping to get out of jail on bond. The judge ruled no bond.
Harvey will remain behind bars.
The Jackson man faces capital murder for the brutal stabbing death of 22-year-old Carmen Sanders.
Sanders was stabbed repeatedly at her Ridgeland apartment January 8th.
The suspect is described as an acquaintance of Sanders.
Harvey served 5 years of a 20 year sentence for killing another woman in Jackson 14 years ago.
A court appointed attorney will represent him.
