JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The Mississippi State House of Representatives voted Monday to sell the state jet that Governor Haley Barbour uses.
The effort is likely to be squashed by the governor's allies in the senate.
The house vote was 66 to 54.
The sale would bring the state more than two million dollars.
The proceeds would go into a fund that helps reduce drivers' annual car tag payments.
