Wreck sends three to the hospital - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Part of Interstate-55 was shut down Monday after a wreck involving an 18-wheeler.
It happened South of Terry, near the Hinds-Copiah county line.
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman James Walker said a truck hauling sand swerved to avoid an M-DOT truck that was pulling onto the highway from the median.
The two trucks collided, and the 18-wheeler turned over.
Walker said the truck driver and two people from the M-DOT truck were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
