Inmate commits suicide

RAYMOND, MS (WLBT) - An inmate has died at the Hinds County Detention Center in Raymond.

Officials said 47-year-old Dwayne Earl Williams hung himself in his cell Thursday afternoon.

Williams was sentenced yesterday to one year in prison for trespassing, stalking and violation of a peace bond.

An autopsy will be performed.
