Ridgeland search for person involved in hit and run

RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - Ridgeland authorities are looking for the vehicle involved in a hit and run.  Witnesses say a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Lake Harbor between Highway 51 and Wheatley Friday. It happened shortly before 8 p.m.

An unidentified male was rushed to a local hospital. No word yet on his injuries.

Residents say they heard the impact. Police have not released a description of that vehicle at this time.
