JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Jackson man is headed to prison for a 2008 murder.
A Hinds County jury found Randy Johnson guilty of murder, aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling. He was sentenced to serve life plus forty-five years in prison.
On May 26th 2008, Cordarel Brown was shot along with four others in the 300 block of Manship Street in Jackson.
Officials say the shooting stemmed from an argument over a spilled drink. Three others were also charged in connection with that crime.
