JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Every industry has its peak performance time when its pushes itself to deliver.
Sunday we visited one such company, Domino's Pizza on Jefferson Street in downtown Jackson.
And on Super Bowl Sunday do they deliver.
"We're swamped up in here," said Domino's Pizza General Manager Felicia Woods.
It is a hectic day for the franchise, Super Bowl Sunday.
It is the busiest day of the year for Domino's Pizza which is the largest pizza delivery company in the country.
If you're on the payroll Woods expects you to work long grueling hours, and no one is allowed to call in sick.
"We normally do a hundred a day, probably today we do like 300. Phones are ringing off the hook. Drivers are running out the doors and ovens are backed up. I'm gonna be tired that's all," said Woods.
For those who don't want to wait for the delivery like Daniel Gomez, there's the pickup service.
He ordered at the window then got his order in time to drive home before kickoff.
Jackson State University defensive coordinator Darrin Hayes waited at the drive through for his order.
"I ordered the majority of what everybody likes, pepperoni, sausage, things like that . I ordered like barbeque chicken pizza. Everybody doesn't like that so just a couple of things for myself," said Hayes.
Driver Victoria Richardson, a New Orleans Saints fan, is originally from Bogalusa Louisiana.
She has lived in Jackson for over 10 years.
Richardson won't get to watch her beloved team, because she'll be making deliveries and making sure other fans have their favorite food in 30 minutes or less.
Nationwide last year Domino's delivered more than 1.3 million pizza's during the Super Bowl.
