JACKSON, MS (WLBT) -  Saints fans were on a mission to own a piece of New Orleans football history.  Hibbett Sports was the only store that opened up shop minutes after the big game to sell Super Bowl champions shirts.  They sold out in 45 minutes.

"There were at least 200 to 250 people waiting outside my door," said Hibbett Sports Manager in Flowood Brandon Gilbert.

By Monday afternoon new shipments had arrived.  Fans couldn't buy enough fast enough.

"I've already called out here this morning.  They said they would have them I called a few minutes ago while sitting at the red light.  (He) said he would hold them for me and I'm getting magnets too," said Gina Virden.

"They're very hard to find right now.  A lot of excitement.  A lot of people making phone calls, buying 6 to 7 shirts at a time," said Sports Avenue Assistant Manager Aaron Bonds.

Can you really blame them?

"Just so we can show off because we waited for this.  Now it's our turn," said life long fan Jan Garrick.

Garrick and the rest of the Who Dat Nation has been waiting 43 years to buy this Saints Super Bowl Champions t-shirt.

"We went through the lean years and the leaner years, but we didn't give up on them.  Then finally now it's happened.  It's a dream come true," said Garrick.
